Born at home in Truchas, New Mexico, Sunday feels her mother’s inner wisdom gave her the strength to give birth to her own three babies naturally as well. To fully engage and surrender to the intensity and mystery of birth is among the most beautifully empowering experiences of her life. 

For more than 20 years, she has witnessed the miracle of life and feminine power, one birth at a time. Creating a beautiful, safe, and loving environment for birthing the next generation is an honor, a pleasure, and a great service to humanity. 

Trained at the International School of Midwifery in Miami, Fl., she became a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and Licensed Professional Midwife (LM) in 2003. She is also a Yoga Teacher, Craniosacral Therapist, holds a Master of Science in Integrative Health Promotion, teaches as adjunct faculty at Maryland University of Integrative Health, and is in her final year of studying to be a Certified Classical Homeopath through AHE.

She founded Conscious Maternity International in 2007 and has conducted numerous childbirth education courses: Natural Childbirth Education, Intuitive Pregnancy and Motherhood, Awakening the Ancestral Wisdom of Birth, Infant Massage, and Doula/Midwifery Trainings in Peru and Chile. In addition, she has served as co-founder of the Yoga Inbound School in Miami, Florida, and Cusco, Peru, and has co-directed several Yoga teacher trainings. 

After spending many years practicing midwifery and building an Eco-Yoga Retreat Center in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru, she is now grateful to be back and in service to her home-town community of Santa Fe.
